Owned and operated by Kory and Catherine Burke, Dresser Winery is an intimate, small-production estate situated on elevated hills overlooking eastern Paso Robles. The family produces approximately 1,500–2,000 cases annually, focusing on bold, predominantly estate-grown reds such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Malbec, Sangiovese, and Tempranillo. Its personalized tastings, vineyard tours, and private picnic experiences showcase the quieter side of Paso Robles wine country. Dresser Winery

Penman Springs is a family-owned artisan winery surrounded by the rolling hills of the Geneseo District. Its estate-grown collection combines familiar Paso Robles favorites—Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, and Petite Sirah—with less-common varieties such as Aglianico, Muscat Blanc, and Petit Verdot. The winery is known for handcrafted wines, an inviting rural setting, and friendly, unpretentious hospitality. Penman Springs Vineyard

Mitchella Vineyard & Winery grew from Angela and Darren Mitchell’s enthusiasm for fine red wine and Darren’s family farming roots. The couple planted Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah overlooking the historic farmhouse where Darren grew up, eventually developing the property into a boutique estate winery. Mitchella produces genuinely handcrafted wines in small lots and offers visitors a relaxed, personal tasting experience with beautiful vineyard views. Mitchella Vineyard & Winery

Steinbeck Vineyards represents seven generations of family farming in the Geneseo District, beginning with the Ernst family’s arrival in 1884. Although the family farms a substantial estate for other producers, only selected vineyard blocks are used for its own small-production label. Owner-guided tours aboard a vintage 1958 Willys Jeep combine estate wines with family stories, local history, and an up-close look at Paso Robles viticulture. Steinbeck Vineyards & Winery

Stilson Cellars is a boutique family winery established after Deborah Stilson and her two sons purchased a small Geneseo District vineyard in 2019. Son Cole serves as winemaker, crafting limited-production wines that include Rhône-inspired blends, Viognier, rosé, and Bordeaux varieties. The family shares its wines through a welcoming tasting room in downtown Paso Robles, providing convenient access to wines rooted in its eastside estate. Stilson Cellars
